Eight Treasures, located in the upscale Pacific Place, Jakarta, is fast becoming a hotspot for hot pot enthusiasts. This restaurant excels in providing a variety of soup bases, including unique options like shark cartilage and collagen soup, catering primarily to the tastes of Chinese Indonesians. Each guest enjoys individual pots, ensuring a personalized dining experience.
However, be prepared to spend considerably— dining here can cost around USD 50-60 per person, which some diners believe is steep for the portion sizes offered. While the meat selection, including lamb, pork, and seafood, receives positive remarks for quality, certain reviews point out that the serving sizes can be disappointing, potentially leading to multiple orders.
Ambiance-wise, Eight Treasures boasts a chic interior, making it a pleasant setting for meals. The limited dipping sauce options, differing from other hot pot venues, may catch some diners off guard, yet the overall quality of the food remains commendable. Despite varying opinions on pricing and portions, the consensus leans toward it being a noteworthy contender in Jakarta's hot pot scene, especially for those willing to indulge.

Reviews for Eight Treasures, Pacific Place
Review highlights
Based on 475 reviewsEight Treasures at Pacific Place is widely praised for its high-quality hot pot offerings, featuring a diverse selection of soup bases and premium meats such as lamb, pork, beef, and seafood. The restaurant’s unique individual hot pot servings and distinct dipping sauces contribute to a personalized dining experience. Located in an upscale mall, it is recognized for its elegant interior and attention to detail. However, the pricing is consistently noted as premium and may be considered expensive by some patrons. The menu caters predominantly to Chinese-Indonesian tastes, with pork dishes highlighting its culinary focus, which may limit options for Muslim diners. Overall, Eight Treasures is recommended for those seeking a refined, flavorful hot pot experience in Jakarta.
One of the better hot pot restaurant in jakarta. They serve a variety of soup base and also different cuts of meat. Lamb, pork and beef is available. Of course they also serve seafood. The hotpot can be served individually so that each person can enjoy their favorite soup base
First thing that comes to mind - PRICEY. So, if you’re not ready to spend some real money on hotpot, skip this place (e.g. about USD50-60 per head). Nevertheless, the soup options are commendable and after trying the Shark Cartilage and Tomato Purée ones, I’m convinced that this restaurant is one of the better hotpot restaurants in Jakarta (maybe even Top 3). Be careful when you place your orders because the portion sizes are tiny. For example, we ordered a 2 person portion of the sliced beef but received a meagre 6 slices of thinly sliced beef. We had to keep adding fresh orders and the tab kept rolling. Unless you have money to splurge, I won’t recommend a visit. There is nothing unique or outstanding about the food. After all, this is a hotpot restaurant and you are ultimately responsible for your own cooking. Worth it? Nah!
A hotpot restaurant suitable for the taste of Chinese Indonesians, offering pork dishes, so it's not suitable for Muslim friends who don't eat pork. The food quality is excellent, and the prices are relatively high, given that it's located in the most expensive mall in Jakarta. Overall, it's highly recommended as I often dine at this restaurant."
Probably one of the best hot pot places I’ve been to anywhere. The collagen soup is excellent and the meats are good. The dipping sauce is a little different t than other places I am used to. But this place is pricy though!
I can call it personal Hotspot at it finest. The decoration and interior are nice. Each person will has it own pot. There are plenty soup based to choose from. The dipping sauce is limited. It is not like the dipping sauce option you have at hotpot restaurant. This is the firstime I see shark based soup. It was good. The meat and seafood are good. Overall it was good lunch.
Love the place, a bit dark but good for a relaxing conversation after work with your colleagues or dinner with family. Price wise a bit steep but the quality of the food is good so it's still worth it. The beef quality is also very good, very tender and juicy. Soup wise, I like the sour veggie pork soup and also the chicken herbal, however be mindful that the soup might change when you refill. I personally am not a fan of the collagen soup as it's too rich for me, the refill that they give seems to be that collagen soup! So the refreshing pork soup with sour vegetables became less refreshing and more heavy. The soups come in 2 separate small pot (rather than one big pot split into two) The water Chestnut drink with sugar cane was really nice and refreshing. The rolled crispy tofu skin is highly recommended too. Spent around 1m for 2pax. Quite expensive for Indonesian standard .
